☀Sunlit Sunday: Our Final Time Together

0

| In : ,

Welcome.

It's the eleventh and final week of Sunlit Sunday for 2013.

I'm glad that our various paths have led us to this meeting place.
We may hale from different countries, but while here,
we're all trees in the same forest.

Over the past eleven weeks, thank you for linking, for commenting on my posts, and for sending messages saying how you've enjoyed this meme.

Most of all, my heartfelt gratitude to those who took the time to visit and comment on the blogs of other participants. Linking and running is not your style and I appreciate that. You are the light in Sunlit Sunday.

Let's dive in for the last time until January 2014.

(If your blog has a Facebook page, feel free to include a link in your post this week. Mine is here.)

Woodsy Walks and Fertile Fields

I do like autumn.

There is something soul-satisfying about shuffling through the leaves on a forest floor and following a path that meanders through a myriad of trees:
elms,
oaks,
red pines
and more.

It was a glistening, golden morning filled with shimmering, fluttering dancers.
A few hills were a clear reminder that I need to walk more regularly. Are you a walker?

After the hike, I drove home by a scenic route, past many farms.

That's one thing I like about my part of the world, rural areas are nearby.

It seems I wasn't the only one appreciating the day.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your comments.

Here's wishing you a wonderful week and some time to enjoy the outdoors.

Listen.

The soft shuffling of the damp leaves underfoot...

The whispered words of the creek to the trees...

 Quietude.
